Meet Dr. Aico Watanabe, DDS
Dr. Watanabe, DDS has her biology and neuroscience degree from the University of Toronto. She then studied at Case Western Reserve University with department specialists, obtaining her doctorate in dental science. Dr. Watanabe, DDS performed her general practice residency with MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
Dr. Watanabe, DDS is always looking for new and improved ways to treat her patients. She regularly participates in courses to continue her craft, utilizing modern techniques and materials.
Being a member of many organizations, Dr. Watanabe, DDS is able to learn and share information with other dentists and specialists regarding the latest procedures and materials available. Dr. Watanabe, DDS is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Greater Cleveland Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and Western Implant Study Group.

The dental team includes experienced professionals led by Dr. Aico Watanabe. We each share the belief that the care we provide should be comprehensive and courteous – responding fully to your individual needs. You are treated like family!
Our clinical team includes registered dental hygienists, expanded function dental auxiliaries (EFDA) and dental assistants that are licensed and registered in the state of Ohio. We provide an office environment that is warm and friendly; our front office staff greets every patient and makes every attempt to set appointments that can accommodate your personal schedule. Our office staff is also available to assist you with any insurance and/or financial arrangements you may need in order to achieve your dental needs and goals.
Our team's commitment extends beyond your office visits. We stay in touch by newsletters, which share information about our office and ways you can take better personal care of your teeth. We contact you to remind you of your current recare schedule and of your upcoming appointments.

Giving Back to the Communities We Serve
There is no greater joy than seeing a child’s smile! At Aico’s Dental Group, we believe in making dental care an early experience to help children in our communities start on a lifetime of healthy smiles. Our sincere goal is to be an active part in the education of the children and help them learn about the importance of excellent dental health.
We meet this goal by dental health programs in the preschools of our areas. Every year, we visit many schools and meet hundreds of children with our presentations. Children will see how important going to the dentist is for their total health. We give one-on-one instruction on how to keep their smiles sparkling and why eating healthy snacks is so important to their well-being.
They will see a video about going to the dentist for their first visit. A question-and-answer time is also completed. Each child takes home a packet of information to encourage parental interest and participation to continue the child’s dental education on a daily basis. We have received many positive comments from the parents on their child’s new interest in keeping their "smile bright."
